One month ago today, Biscuit came into our lives, and ever since has been nothing but a joy.

She has been a good companion for Boomer; they get along wonderfully, although they have their little spats like brothers and sisters do.

She is well-minded, and a little love bug.

We are looking forward to many happy years together with our pair.

Here's a little video I took today of the kids playing on our bed:

CindyRose, congrats to you, too!

Paisley, she loves bossing her brother around! For a little girl, she has spunk and shows him no mercy.

Barney's Pal, it does make me feel good to see them together. She was a definite asset to our house. She has been such a good companion to Boomer.

Thank you, McFreck's family!

vb3, she is a very springy little girl. One day this week I went into the bedroom to see her jumping up and down like a little kid and barking at Boomer who was just looking at her like, "Sisters!".

Jnfr, I'm fortunate that the kids like to sleep thru the night. If I have to get up in the night to use the bathroom or because of good old insomnia, then they'll get up with me, but usually go right back to bed.

I wish I could be a stay at home mom, I have so much enjoyment being with them.

Most nights they not only sleep thru the night, you'd think they were dead they are so OUT. However, one in a while (maybe a full moon?) they do go nuts!

My biggest problem with them... on work days when I really need to get up, they are willing to sleep in... forever. However, Saturday and Sunday (when I would like and could sleep in) they are up at the crack of dawn (long before I would even need to get up for work) Arrrgggg!!!! I am starting to think it is some sort of hound joke or evil plot!

I too wish I could be a stay at home mom, or the alternative, take them to the office. However, the office is fairly dog friendly. I'll bring one in if we have a vet appt in the middle of the day. Everyone at the office is dog crazy except one, and we just ignore him! I figure if my direct boss has not problem then...

I love my 2 hounds so much, they have such different personalities, it makes it fun.

Right now, little Biscuit is lying on her back in daddy's arms sleeping away. I just have to snicker at my gruff, 6'1" 200+ lb mountain man. He's more of a softy than he'll let on.
