Have any of you seen this book ? It was put together for contributions to basset rescues,in other words the price of the book goes to rescue groups. It is filled with basset stories some funny,some heartbreaking but all in all very entertaining.I bought one for my Vet. If anyone is interested e-mail me personally and I can give you the information you need. As basset lovers this is a book not to miss.

An excellent effort and good reading. I laughed, I cried ... btw, it comes with a tissue inside, but its not enough. Highly recommended for basset lovers, and for a good cause, too.

Looks like a good book, but now everytime I see this topic title, I hear that Kenny Chesney song "You Had Me From Hello" in my head, only I "hear" him singing, "You Had Me from Ahroo" and I "see" him singing to a basset hound....

It was a quick read, but very funny (especially Tasselhoff's "Bacon Story") and very moving. I sure hope you enjoy it. Let us know! I've been trying to get my husband to read it ... he's so not a reader.

I just got my book in the mail today and read the first twelve pages. I can't wait to read the rest. It's really a great read, you will laugh at the antics of Bassets and cry with the Rainbow Bridge tributes. A wonderful book about those nutty, long eared, long bodied, mischevious, independent dogs we here at the forum love. You are helping Bassets when you buy one, too. If you haven't read it, you will be delighted when you do.
