BTW, they are both absolutely BEAUTIFUL hounds :) Just wondering if there have been any disagreements between the girls since 99 joined the pack?

Thank you!

Re: disagreements
None at all. They both have very sweet temperaments. Venus is not quite 2 yet, so she still has some puppy in her and is by far the submissive of the two. They both get plenty of treats so there is no bickering. True bassets in every sense!

It's great that they aren't scared of the decorations!

We have a movable santa which when plugged in, is about the same height of Ruby. The first year we used it was when Ruby was a puppy and she was scared of it. Many years later, she gets scared for about a minute and then gets real excited as it's her height. She hasn't seen it in a couple of years so we'll have to take it out and see if it works. If so, who knows how she'll act. I'll try to get a pic either way.

I have one of those 24" moving Santa's as well. I found Venus treating it like a big chew toy the day after I put the tree up. She isn't afraid of anything. She actually gets excited when I bring the vacuum cleaner out.
