Saturday morning we decided to give our master bedroom and bathroom a re-make. One of those things you know, one project leads to another (bigger one).
We ended up cannot sleep in our bedroom that night. We slept in the guest bedroom across the hallway for a night. We moved the dog bed to that room with us.

At 11 pm, we're done watching TV and went to guest bedroom. Henrietta recognized it immediately and went straight in there with us.
Winston was too lazy to get up from his couch. He got up around midnight or 1 am and went to our regular bed, only to find an empty room. He panic!!

Poor Winston, I could hear him walking back and forth making panic noises, if I can translate it into human's language it will be: "Where is Mommy? where is daddy? Where is Henri??? ahhhhh.......!!"
When he saw me across the hallway, boy...he was sooo happy, he was a bit shaking. Poor baby boy..... I can't help but laugh so laugh in the middle of the night.

I guess he hasn't fully recover from his "trauma" yet. He will check up on me every now and then. Of course, he got extra snuggle and extra tap on his chunky butt!
He will get over it, I'm sure. It's just sooo funny to see him react in such a way.

Yes, they are creatures of habit, and do NOT like their routine messed with.
A few weeks back Jeannie and I switched sides of the bed for a few nights (please don't ask why). Dudley and Minnie were not amused. We were woken up several times by one, the other, or BOTH dogs pawing at us trying to get us back in our proper spots :? It could have been funny, but not at 3am!

I often feel Menna needs more eyes if a few of us are home and in different rooms so she can see us all at all times. When my daughter and her fiance come home she can't decide whose bedroom she wants to sleep in, life rally is hard for a basset
