Hi guys!

First time poster! Lovely to be part of this community.

Our puppy Flash is 4 months old today!

Looking at other posts he seems a very typical basset pup but he does cut the cheese a lot so we鈥檙e getting through lots of scented candles 馃ぃ

Does the flatulence diminish as they get older in your experiences? My eyes were streaming so much earlier with the gaseous atmosphere I couldn鈥檛 finish my Mars Bar

Best regards to all

My Whippet has bouts of clearing a room ...... I give her charcoal biscuits (treats) which help. But you might look to his diet - most problems stem from perhaps feeding the wrong diet, for an individual dog too. Another warning - Bassets are a breed prone to GDV (Bloat, with torsion) so any sign of gas would have me concerned. We have had, over the years (of which there have been many) 4 cases of GDV, 2 survived, 2 didn't.

Have you spoken to his breeder re what's going on - most long-term breeders would know how best to sort this out.
