Excuse the unmade bed, but it doesn't stay made when they sneak into bed.

I try to leave the door shut until I'm ready for bed. That way I don't have to fight for space.

I have had one since 1970 mine is to high for Lucy to jump up on.

Don't they shed? Ruby sheds so much this time of year that there'd be hair everywhere!

I let Maggie into my bed for a few hours last night. She usually sleeps in her crate on our main floor, but last night there was a huge thunderstorm at about 4:30 in the morning. Thunderstorms don't actually seem to bother her, but I think I woke her up when I was walking around shutting windows and she started whimpering. I let her out to pee and then let her sleep in my bed for the rest of the night - I think I was more scared of the storms than her. She just made her groaning-I'm-trying-to-sleep-keep-it-down noise during the big rumbles.

It use to be a waterbed. Dozer chewed a hole in it a few years ago, (water everywhere) so I dropped in a standard bed. I used the old waterbed frame, because I made it in high school woodshop. I have a step on the back side for them to use to get in. Dozer uses it, but Digger jumps onto tables, so the bed isn't a problem.
