Who ordered the snow?

That's ok. I don't mind! :D

Would you like to help me build a snowhound?

Mom says I should fly south until spring arrives!

Love the photos! Especially the last one! Definately looks ready to fly away! And the middle one is great, too! Those ears are so looooooong!

BUT... please keep the snow to yourself. ;) My crocuses are almost ready to bloom and I hate when the snow comes and covers them up again!
With temperatures in the 70's last week, I hauled 16 bags of mulch into our front yard and placed them around the yard in strategic locations so that I could spread it this weekend . I love to mulch, those nice crisp borders make my sparse, dog-worn grass look so much better!

Well, I'm sitting here looking at 14 inches of snow-we got a huge surprise storm on Friday- Murray has been in and out all day running around in the backyard- he loves it-but I think he's the only one around here who is happy about this!

Those bags of mulch won't see the light of day for at least another week!
Good lookin' hound.

You must be somewhere near us. We got about a foot!

Hoss loves snow! He thinks it's just loads of fun. :)
We finally got rid of our snow, 77 for today's high in northeast Colorado, but it still gets down to the high 20s/low 30s at night though. Our snowest month is April, so we still could get some more.
Dozer & Digger are getting to warm though. (see my shedding post)
We had 18 inches Friday night. I opened the door for last outs at about 11:00 p.m., Edith Ann and Eloise went downstairs into the yard. Charlie stood on the snow-covered porch looking things over, then pee'd right there!

Friday we got an inch or so before it changed to rain... I LOVE southern RI in the winter! Last night we got another dusting before it changed to rain agian. I like snow in January and February - Moe acts like a puppy when it snows - but I don't like snow in March. March is time to watch for pussywillows and early flowers like crocuses and snowdrops. :) It's time to start buying seed packets and flip through gardening books while daydreaming of green grass (having blissfully forgotton about how terrible our dead or dying pee spotted lawn looked in the fall  ) and picturing beautiful gardens overflowing with lillies, peonys, and irises (and wondering if this will be the year that Moe will stop 'killing' my flower's buds before they get a chance to bloom <_< ).

Come to think of it winter has it's charms, especially when snow covers all the dog damage in our yard...

Oh, Terry! Eat my heart out! We're only 45 minutes north of you and we got about 8" before it turned to rain making the snow heavier and more painful to move, especially when you have to dig a poopy-path. The only good news is that it's supposed to be up into the 60's by the end of the week!

You don't have to travel too far south to reap the benefits of a mild climate. ;) AND, in the summer we are much cooler than you are, too, being so very close to the ocean! B)
Well this winter we got maybe 1/2 of what you might possibly call a dusting, but not really. I'm jealous. I wanted to watch my dogs in the snow and as one of my co-workers says "Pray for snow...I'm a teacher". :D

I think that you have a very unusual looking and beautiful basset hound.
