As you may know - Stickers is a frequent flyer, travelling around the world
visiting people. It's up to you to find out where Rusty was last weekend.

I can give you some clues:
  • There's no slobber and hair to be seen - probably not a dogowner.
  • They are wealthy, I guess - since they have golden apples and grapes.
  • They are musical, by the look of the piano.
  • They are surely from another culture, since the curtains are horizontal, in stead of vertical.
That's all the information you'll get.
Let's see some answers!

Steinar, is that a trick question? If so, then Rusty was at home last weekend because that pic is of StICKERS!! :p

I would guess that it is not Norway, because you seem to have wooden floors there, it's not southern USA because of the heat they tend not to have carpets. The piano makes me think of someone like Val(George) as I have heard her mention George sings along while she is playing an instrument. She doesn't live in Southern USA so the carpet would fit too. The only thing that throws me is the little curtain. In a colder climate you would have a full one to keep the draughts out. I'm still going to plump for Val&George though.

But some people in colder climates love to sit in their living room, with a fire going, and a glass of wine, and watch the blizzards raging outside. :)

I live in New England and have no curtains at all. I love to see the flowers in spring, the trees in the summer, the colors in fall, and the snow in winter. And, yes, in the winter the fire is going (we heat with wood - very warm and cozy even with no curtains), though I prefer tea to wine. :)

Well, whoever he is, he is yummy! I could just smother that face with kisses!

Plenty of people - I would say most, in fact - in the Southern US have wall-to-wall carpet. It's standard in most new houses. Folks seem to like it. More upscale homes, these days, often install all hardwoods instead - it's just so much prettier, to me, to have wood and tile or stone whenever you can. I dont' see the point, of course, of having carpet when you have dogs or kids - it just gets ruined. We are so glad, in our new house, to have all ceramic tile and wood-laminate (Pergo) floors.

It was mostly to show Sandy how a photo could be manipulated,
it's not difficult at all, you just need a photo editing program.

First I started with Patti's beautiful Sticker (not Rusty):

Then I removed Sticker:

Found a nice picture of Sandy's livingroom:

And voila; Rusty is visiting Sandy:

slightly o/t, but ...

how in the world do you all keep your homes so nice and tidy?

mine looks like a fur bomb exploded shortly after a burglar got in and dumped every bit of paper he could find --- books, student papers, my papers, bills, you name it --- on every table and flat surface in the place.

Biscuit: I clean for hours everyday! I've gone through more vacummns than I can count! Most of my house is tile. I vacummn the entire house daily, then mop the tile daily! My Husband is a neat freak, so he's gladyly take on the job of wiping the walls, removing drool, touching up paint, also cleaning the sliding glass doors!! It never ends!! Having two means twice the drool & hair but also twice the love!!!!!!!!!!

Also, having no human kids helps

Maggie's mommy, can I borrow you for a while? Bring your husband, too... ;)

Steinar, can you make a handsome Basset appear in my living room? For real? I had in mind one of the vegetable litter perhaps... :) :) :)
