I bought all kinds of beds but the one they want is our bed. We finally gave up and got a king size bed so we could all fit.
What type of bed for your basset
I have been looking at the Kuranda dog beds and wonder what type of bed you have for your bassets?

Having spent $5,000 on surgery for 2 herniated discs on Molly, I would NOT suggest Bassets jumping on and off human beds and couches. That said, Foster and Smith (albeit expensive), I think has the best dog beds on the market. I only order beds from them. All other doggy products (treats, supplements, meds, toys, etc.) can be ordered much cheaper from other purveyors. Watch out for your Bassets backs, PLEASE!! Take care, Belinda.[/b]
I agree the jumping on and off the bed was too hard on my hounds that's why we invested in a set of dog stairs that go at the end of the bed. The best thing we ever did, they use them all the time, much easier on their backs and mine, no more trying to lift them up.
