Yup, the jury is back with the verdict - it definitly was the Poodle's fault. No rightous Basset would ever start such a mix up. But I can just see Emma giving her two cents worth to that snobbish Poodle  .

This dogparking outside the mall is a very nice thing.
It's not mandatory to pick up the dog you came with,
if I'm in the mood for a German Shephard or a New
Foundlander, I'll bring them back home in stead.
Next time it could be a Collie and a Whippet. Sooner
or later you will get around and have back the originals.

But you can't take more dogs than you came with.

I took 99 to the dog park the other day and she was not her normal self. Kept her tail down and did not seem friendly to other dogs in the least bit.

Perhaps the females just have bad days. Like their human compadres??!?!?!?

You know you didn't HEAR what the poodle said to poor Emma. Poodles are known for their "trash talk". You can't blame a girl for defending her honor! That was a fabulous story and written very well. I love the girls from across the pond!

Oh Emma.........you are soooo adorable. It wasnt your fault! Can you take a picture next time you go (if you do). I am very curious to know what this line up of dogs outside the mall would look like......

Thanks that was a great story to share. :p

What a wonderful idea... I'd like to try a Bloodhound and a Corgie. Bloodhounds are sort of like tall Bassets and Corgies are short like Moe and Tally. I've grown so accustomed to short-legged dogs that long-legged dogs look abnormal to me now! B)
