I read a post down near the bottom, sounds familuar to my bassets issue. However hes not in any pain, but the vet did suggest that we have bone surgery.
So can anyone tell me what Pano is?

Thanks

Panosteitis, or "pano", is a growth disorder that affects younger bassets, up to about 3 years of age. Although it affects mainly males, females may also be affected. It produces intermittent, wandering lameness, which means the dog is sometimes lame and sometimes fine, and the lameness seems to shift from one leg to another. Here are some links for more reading.

Pano is always painfull - so if Le Roy doesn't have pain then I don't think its pano. and it does jump from leg to leg, but sometimes only over a long time like Lexie's front right leg was limp from pain and now 4 weeks later her back left leg was limping. - hope it helps....
