Well ....it's in the works! I spoke to the foster Mom from the rescue organization and we set up an appt for a meet and greet Thursday night at 7:00. Weird time but whatever works. I hope Belvedere behaves. He's never seen another Basset before. He's 4 1/2 and she's 5/6 years old. I think a big sister will be good for him.

I haven't done this before ...adopting a dog from a foster home. I have great hopes that it's easier than from the humane society. I have the advantage of knowing what her environment has been like for the past year. She was there during her physical therapy and stayed on to be sure that there were no other problems.

I'll post pics when I get some new ones. This is Dixie in her foster home:

I hope she behaves as good as she looks and you will have a wonderful animal. She is absolutely gorgeous.

good luck!!!! we have adopted two times and both times were rather easy went to look at the dog then took them home. hope yours goes as easily and that all get along well.
