In August we are going back to Ireland from Spain, and traveling with Opus and the three cats. And there is a company who specializes in moving the animals, but we're going to fly them. It's is faster and less stressful for them. Two and a half hours on a plane sure beats fifteen hours in a van.

When Georgia allowed me to adopt her I had to get her from Ohio to NM. My first thought was driving, but I decided that wasn't practical. I then looked at the van companies and they seemed good to me, but I decided to fly her because of the possilbe stress invovled.

Her first mommy put her on a plane early in the morning and I got her around noon time. She had absolutely NO problems with flying and I think it was the best decision.

This time of year might be difficult, though, becuase I know the airlines have temperature restrictions on flying animals.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I don't know this company... but I am a member of a Petloss grief support group- Awhile back someone lost their pet while being transported by a similar company. The van stopped for lunch and fogot to leave the air on in the van for the dogs.
