I have a friend whose basset loves to be vacuumed- She claims it's the best way to get rid of fur- Mine would be like yours and absolutely refuse- Jake ate the cord to my vacuum cleaner one just cause it annoyed him... I was running the machine at the time and didn't realize he was coming along behind me gnawing on the cord- I was so thankful he wasn't shocked!

... and after we're finished, we play chase with the vacuume.
Mr. Runcible thinks that is great fun, it's about the only times he barks.
