Hey y'all, I don't really post here anymore, but these pics were too good to share.

Hey y'all!

For those of you not in the area, we have a HUGE parade on the weekend before Mardi Gras that is all for the dogs! They even have a weiner dog race. Thousands of people and their furbabies show up, it's really a fun day! (I htink I heard there were about 8000 dogs this year!)

We were lucky to have temps about 15 degrees warmer than they have been lately for the festivities today. Here are some of the pics.......Tootie's "Hooters" costume was extremely popular, she got all kinds of attention!

We're on our way!

We saw quite a few bassets this year! Probably about 15 or so. Last time I only saw 2 the whole day!

And we saw several St. Bernards, like Tootie's Aunt Pepper:

Some dogs rode in a wagon

And some had their own floats!

We saw a little bit of everything...

EDIT:::::::: There were tons more pics, but I guess the max on this site is 10 pics, so I can't post them :(

Thanks for the comments, everyone :)
Glad to see you remember us!

We had such a great time at the parade. I really hope we get to go again next year, but our baby-to-be will only be about 5 or 6 months old, so it really just depends!

(for those who didn't know, I had made a post announcing my pregnancy, but that was off topic so it was deleted.
We found out on Dec 27th, and we are due with our FIRST (HUMAN) BABY on Sept 3) :)
