Our pup has a tendancy to inhale his food, and occasionally throw up afterwards. I read through the discussions about this topic and tried burping him last night/this morning and it really seemed to work. Although my husband looked at me like I was CRAZY! Oh well, I didn't have to clean up puke!

Woody doesn't usually need burped but I have always set him on my lap..on his but back paws out and rubbed his back like I did with my babies....I thought I was crazy,..a few times he has burped even though he doesn't have a vomit issue...how cute....

Here's Chuck's latest thing...he no longer inhales his food. He will eat a little, walk over to me for a burping, and repeat until his food is gone. I think he just likes the hugs and attention! He only does this when I'm home. If my husband feeds him he will eat his whole bowl and go stand by our patio door. I think he's manipulating me, but I don't mind one bit!
