Those of you who have been around since the fall of 2002 will appreciate this news. Bonnie, our basset hound that was near death in 2002 is pregnant with at least three puppies. Back in 2002 she had complete renal failure (no kidney or liver function) due to an allergic reaction to an antibiotic and had less that a 50/50 chance to live. Our friends in the basset hound community rallied to support her with prayers and good wishes. Your support helped both Bonnie and the two of us get through those hard times. The University of California at Davis doctors (some of the best experts in the world) called Bonnie a “miracle girl” and today she’s even more so. Now we have to do our best to make sure that the puppies go the full term. If they do she will have them the first weekend in May. Pam and I would like to again thank all who supported Bonnie and us through those hard times and wanted to let you know the good news. :D
