There are many causes for limping but I'd recommend a visit to your veterinarian for an examination and possilby blood test and x-rays. Limping as you describe could be caused by Lyme Disease or other tick-borne diseases that if untreated can become serious. Soft tissue injury, arthritis, hip dysplasia are only a few conditions that can cause limping. You'd really have to see your vet for any kind of diagnosis and treatment.
