I used Buddy Rinse Shampoo (lavender and mint) and Conditioner (green tea and bergamot).
I bathe him once every two weeks. Reason being is I socialized Gus a LOT. And, he played at Basset daycare once a week. And, after the daycare, he stank. They play and chew each other and always come out slobbered and wet...
He gonna have his first official competition next month.
He got 2nd place at puppy match

So, I am bathing him once every two week with daily brushing.
I tried to not bathe him for three weeks.. but, with him being naughty and his obsession to jump on water puddles, it is pretty much impossible.

Dawn dishwashing liquid is used at Tri State Bird Rescue to clean oil from birds. So it should be good enough for hounds!

Honestly, the brand doesn't matter. I frequently use Palmolive, I know of one handler who always used Sunlight n his show dogs, and I've used other brands as well.
