boy did we have a scare on sunday morn. I was siting out on the front porch waiting for a friend to pick me up to go to the zoo, my husband was in the back yard with the dog. I heard pop pop pop and then my friend came so didn't think much about it, well it was gun fire , and it kept on going and we drove right by it and could have been shot, my husband and atticus could have caught a stray bullet in the back yard. my husband called 911 and then the first police officer that arrived got his window shot out and he got grazed and ended up in the hospital, another police car got shot up too, then the guy shot and killed himself. So we will probably never know why this happened , but soooooo happy no one was killed, we had alll kinds of news people in our street, they even interviewed my husband , but he didn't make the cut to get on tv,(maybe if atticus was with him they would have put him on, can't resist that face) but my neighbor did. they actualy thought that there was another suspect so they did a house by house search with guns and everything.
Hope today is alot quieter around here. enough excitement for one day.
