Ah man. He looks miserable. Just like my Cletus when he had his collar on. Don't worry big guy, it'll all be over before you know it. ;)

Aw, poor Rusty looks sooooooo depressed. If only they could understand that this is all for their own good, eh?

I'm happy to report that Rusty is no longer looking "so sad". It took several days for him to perk up. He finally adjusted to the E collar after 2 days and he was reunited with his sister. Stickers knows to stand clear of him when he turns otherwise she gets nudged with that collar  Stickers hasn't even tried to sniff or lick his eye. We told her "no" on day 2 when we let them be together again. Now he's walking around the house like usual but smashing into things  My Husband was looking up the # on the paint can in the garage. I guess he'll have to touch up the walls when this is all over

We go back to the Opthamologist on Friday to hopefully have the stitches removed!!!! :D

A friend of mine has a dog that has a horrible ear infection which has now turned into a hot spot all down the dogs face. They had a cone for her so she couldn't scratch. She too of course ran into everything and ended up BREAKING THE CONE! They are now trying to find creative ways so that she can not scratch her neck/face area.
