Rusty & Stickers update

I just talked to Ellen (their breeder). Their surgeries went fine! Thank God!! Rusty is acting like nothing even happened! She has him in her side yard and the rest of the gang, except Stickers in the big yard. As she was talking to me, he was at the fence with his brother on the other side, posturing! They are still deciding on who is the dominant dog!!! Stickers was sleeping in the house. She said she knew she was very sore and had some pain. She is giving them both pain meds after they eat some dinner. She will give each of them a pipe bed with an exercise pen around it but keep them separated in her family room. She is sleeping on the couch just in case they need her. I will touch base with her on Thursday. I am so relieved this is over!! Ellen is such a great lady. She truly loves these dogs with her whole heart. I miss my babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
