Well, folks! Fran's giardia is back with a vengeance. It's Saturday evening and I have enough Flagyl until the vet opens on Monday and I have one pack of Panacur so it's away we go again!
So far we've racked up $700 for this little parasite problem and I'm growing very discouraged.
We'll see.

Oh no! That's terrible. I'm sorry it's come back. Healing drool from Doppler and Virga! And here's to hoping that this time it goes away and stays away!

The thing is with giardi is it is never curred It is thought that most dogs have at least some in the digestive track but the immune system keeps it under control it is usually puppies and older dogs that have more compremised immune system which it becomes a problem and prolonged and sometime continious treatment is need to keep it in check.
