A while back I remember seeing a photo of a basset sleeping on a bed made of plastic pipes.
Can some one tell me where I can get one for Roxy?

any pet supply store that sells bed have them. I was recently doing a search for new beds for the dogs and I saw those in there.

These are the ones my kids have. A friend of the breeder makes them. I haven't seen them in pet stores only in pet catalogues, Foster & Smith, Pet Edge, etc. Maybe some stores have them just not in my area?? The dogs love them. In fact, I am meeting the woman who makes them at an agility show in FL. tomorrow to get two more she made for the kids. I'm replacing them for the big pillow ones. They actually prefer the pipe beds. I have the original two outside. They can get wet are easy to clean and don't hold the smell.

I thought one of those beds would be nice for the dogs to have outdoors, so they wouldn't have to lie on the cold concrete. I got a cute one with sky blue background and little beige dog bones all over, at a dog show. All my dogs totally ignore the thing. Oh, well.

I've used the PVC cots for years, outside and inside. I first got them because I noticed that the dog beds would sometimes be wet on the bottom and finally figured out it was from the dog's warm body and the cool tile-so the cots prevented wet dog beds. They really do prefer the cots with a dog bed on top. :wink:
