Eowyn completed the requirements for AKC Field Champion in grand style sunday By Winning the Bitch Class at the Susquehanna Basset Hound Club field trial held at Lebanon County Beagle Club.


Hermione Finished Fourth


Eowyn is the Second Soundtrack bred Field Champ her Sister Artemis is a Grand Field Champion competing out on the left coast.

Yep those in the Know only see it like twice if 40 years. My understand not being there that the only two dogs that did anything were the dogs that did place the other four did nothing. So the judges did not want to award the points and placement for first not because the winning dog did not necessarily deserve 1st but because the point associated is based on beating 6 competent dogs,

For what it's worth Judges are allowed to do the samething in conformation. Does not happen often but it does happen.
