Just wondering who has the oldest Basset. :?:
I was looking through Dogster.com for local Bassets, and found one that was 17 years old.
So I thought I'd ask if anyone here has a senior, and how old they are.

Bo will be 14 in October, but I adopted him 9 months ago, I haven't had him for long.

The oldest Basset I ever personally knew was my precious Maggie Mae. She lived to be 15 years, 3 months. She died in her sleep. I miss my girl so much.

I remember on this forum we had an 18 year old named Cleo. That was a few years ago.

My Basset Hound is almost 18... He will be 18 in a few days. You would think with his age he wouldnt be able to hear or see or something like that but none of that is true. Vets say he has the health of a two year old puppy and expect a few more years out of he old guy.
