Gurgling belly sounds usually meant our hound ate something she shouldn't have eaten. It's so agonizing waiting for the symtoms and the "something" to pass. Follow the advice in the previous posts (ice chips, chicken and rice diet) and please do not wait too long if things don't get better.
I've spent many nights listening to those belly sounds, watching my hound drag her belly across the floor because of something she ate:
Milk bottle cap
a quarter
chewed up popsicle stick, q-tip and candy wrappers
When walking her, I had to look ahead, keeping my eyes searching to find garbage before she did b/c if I didn't and she got it first..........she ate it!
I became the litter police around the neighborhood!
Hope your hound feels better soon!
