proud owner of a goregous basset female named lulu found you guy looking for more info on basset and stuff been reading the post over here while waiting for approval to post have to say she much fit right in with the flat basset and all the quirks they have

this isnt a recent photo of her but my favorite this is her at 4mos she is almost a year now

She's a beautiful girl. I have to agree with you that the first pic is very special.

Welcome to the Board. As you may already know, bassets can be addicting. It's great to have other addicts to share with.

they are addicting, i have loved them since i was a little girl and had a book about a dective basset hound it was one of my favorite as well as the worlds uglest dog about a english bulldog i was a strange child, i have 6 kids and two dogs that we love one is a mutt and the kids dog and lulu is my princess she sleeps with me and everything she is very spoiled she pushes the kids off the bed she will snuggle up on the pillow like a real kid with her little paws over the edge of the blanket i dont think she knows she is a dog :lol:

She's not a "dog" she's basset!!! And she obviously knows it.

My tribe gives her high pawsies for her bassetude.

Cute baby bassett. Having fifty pounds of ears and drool charging thru the house, makes me wonder if my bassett was ever that small :shock:

Give it a few months and Lulu will have you and the family fully trained in the proper care, feeding and spoiling of a bassett.

Bassets are not dogs, don't you know? Molly does the same thing--she will actually push you off your pillow at night to take it, will trick you to getting up off the couch so she can run and take your spot. They are just about the funniest dogs around! I love the pictures!

i have to say we have owned alot of dogs over the years and i agree bassets have to be the funnyest dogs i have ever had the pleasure or spending my life with, some are great dogs but bassets are like haveing a 2yrold around all day long and i know i have a 2yrold that acts just like lulu so actually i have 2 , 2yrs around all day long good thing i love toddlers
