I just ordered this bowl for Rusty. Since his rock surgery he practically inhales his food. No kidding, he is done in under a minute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found this company started by a woman with a Doberman that also inhaled his food. I just got off the phone with her. Very nice lady. The idea is the obstacles should slow him down.
Here's a picture of it.

I need to order one of those for Lightning--he inhales his food too. Was the lady pretty sure that the medium-sized bowl would be big enough for a basset?
My boy Gibbs too inhales his food once he goes over to his bowl. I've been contemplating getting one of these for my dogs, but Lily tends to chew on plastic bowls. <_<
