Hi guys
I'm abit upset so excuse the rambling !!
Reggie is 15 weeks although I'm quite sure breeder wasn't as honest as we thought so maybe 13 weeks ? We are working on his puppy biting and nipping still and house training still ongoing but ....
Today son (18months) was sat on floor quietly playing with his toy ,I was sat on sofa right next to him , reggie came up (just sniffing no noise etc) and bit sons face ,left quite a mark under his eye. There was no growling anything so think maybe he was trying initiate play ?? I never leave them alone together but I'm just upset I was sat right there n still couldn't stop it happening (I honestly didn't see it coming) x can anyone offer advice ? I'm trying keeping him on a leash around son now to try and control him abit ,do u think that's right ?? Any other advice welcome

That's what puppies would do with each other. If you watch puppies (and adults) play there is lots of mouthing and "biting" - that's how they learn boundaries. Puppies don't understand yet how much is "too much" which is why they're reliant on the feedback from their "play" partner.

He's plenty old enough for obedience classes to start learning self-restraint and appropriate behavior.
