Here are some new photos of Dixie and Belvedere. I had them in the courtyard while doing some gardeing yesterday. They were playing "watchdog"! They got lots of attention. This was Dixie's debut to the neighborhood.

Dixie & Belvedere are very cute. I like the shot of them from behind. Something about Basset butts! Gardening in Feb.? I want to live in FLA! However, because of our mild winter thus far, my crocuses are blooming & the tulips are up about 4 inches.

First time I've seen Belly they are both beauties.I am sure you feel safe with such tough guards standing watch!

They really had a great time out there, watching everyone go by. I'm going to look into a more secure latch for the gate so they can be out there more often. Something that can only be locked and unlocked from the inside, by me.

MY basset hounds are great watchdogs.... they'll watch you go in, watch you take the TV, and watch you go out.

they are more guard dog... I walk into my back yard when its sunny and Daisy is passed out sunnin herself with all 4 paws in the air!
