If the sun is not out and Mr. Buddylee needs to come inside sooner than later, what is your favorite vacuum cleaner? Shedding hair and dried dirt needs an industrial vac!

Remove the carpet and a broom and dust pan work find especial if you are not the festidious kind.

Nothing I said wasn't serious. Unless the dog has a specific issue seborrhea, tangling with a skunk for the third year in a row etc, bathing does not accomplish much. Because they loss all their hair once a week [an aproximation only, during bi-annual shedding season it peaks a once a day) they stay pretty clean, shedding is the bassets method of avoiding baths.
