As I type this, our rescue dachshund Minna is lying next to Murray in our sunny doorway watching birds. She actually played with him this morning! We've had her since last May, and up until today, she would either attack Murray or run from him in fear if he came within a few feet of her. I have no idea why this sudden change has come about-but I am now convinced that miracles do happen!!! :)

Hurrah for miracles!! Ginger, one of my rehomed bassets, wouldn't play with anyone for several months. The first time she had a real play session with the others I was so excited I called everyone I knew to tell them. It was a great day - glad you are having one too!

Tally, our rescue-Dachshund, couldn't stand Moe at first. Moe on the other hand, loved her at first sight and was totally bewildered when the feeling wasn't mutual. She bullied my poor, sweet Moe for months before finally settling down. Eventually they became best friends and constant companions. Moe still has a healthy respect for Tally, though. SHE is in charge. :D

Great that helps me keep hope for Beau! He in now getting up on the couch with me! He puts his front paws up and then I lift his behind. He likes to put his head UNDER my pillow! He wouldn't even snuggle with me at first! yvonne
