I got Bowser all cleared of mange a while ago, but then suddenly the past month he started scratching again. I went ahead and used the leftover medicine (dip) on him, and sure enough I found a patch under his chin/neck skin where he'd scratched it raw.

I feel so bad for him, but I don't know what to do about it. I guess some dogs are just sensitive to it? One vet told me Bowser must have a low immune system, but what can i do about that?!!

*sigh*! My poor baby : (

Awww Bowser, if it's not one thing, it's the next. Bowser is lucky to have a mommy that pays such good attention to his needs :)

P.S. Jaleely, how are YOU with the ulcer situation?

There are a couple types of manage Demodex mange in olders dogs is an immune system problem that is likely genetic not much you can do about despite claim of homiopathic vets claims otherwise.

You may find that it only flairs up when the immune system is stressed further ie the dog is sick, allergies etc. So minimizing those can help.
