Has anyone heard from Lynne and Huck lately? I've been thinking about them a lot and hope they are doing well.

Hi Kim, thanks for thinking of me & Huck. Huck is doing great and as spoiled as usual. Me? Well, I'm doing okay. Had an MRI last week showing that the tumors and edema around the tumors have shrunk considerably. Very good news for me and d/h. The downside right now is my hearing has been affected and there are days that it's very difficult to hear. The audiologist referred me to an NET as my eardrums are not vibrating. I guess we'll see how that plays out. But other than that, while I still have no hair and I get tired easily, life is good.

Have you seen the cover of The Bugler? It's Huck in his raincoat!!!

Again, thanks for thinking of us and hope all is fine with you and yours.

Been thinking about you too hope you start to feel good soon :)
Great to hear from you Lynne. You have been missed here. Tell that handsome Huck you need to post that picture of him in his raincoat on this forum so all the newcomers can see what a "hunk the Huck" is.
Lynne, I'm glad to hear from you. It's good to see that Huck is still spoiled. He looks like such a sweet boy. And I would say it's a very good sign that the tumors have shrunk. I hope you can get some help from you audiologist with your hearing.

We're still waiting on spring here in Eagle River. The biggest challenge I face presently is whether I'll end up spending another beautiful Alaska summer in Iraq. Other than that I can't really complain. If all goes well, we'll plan on some trips in the trailer to Seward, Homer and who knows where else.

Again, happy to hear from you. Continued good thoughts from all of us.

Kim
I am glad to see you back on the sight. Hope you have continued good news. I have missed pictures of Huck. He has one of the most unique mugs I have ever seen. A great "ambassetador" for the breed!
