So glad that you are feeling almost back to your old self Esther....I was a little worried when I didn't hear from you.. and I think your breakfast request is perfectly correct...and If you would ever like to share some with your new buddy Woody, I can give you my address:D.

But one question, do you dig better holes now with your new spade??? I am just so curious about this stuff...

Your pal in drool...

Wow Esther! You looked so pitiful in the first two pictures. I'm glad your "adventure" went so well. I didn't get to see either of mine drugged so it was funny to see a picture of you so groggy. Healing drool from Doppler and Virga.

Virga didn't. She was down for the day after which was to be expected! But after she got some food in her and got a good nights sleep, she was fine the next day. Hmm. Keep an eye on it. Hopefully she'll perk up soon. If not a call into the vet wouldn't go amiss I would think. Good luck Esther! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Molly developed a UTI right after she came home...about a day after. Vet prescribed meds and she was back to normal within days. I'd say a call to the vet is in order. It never hurts to just ask. Vets are used to that stuff and won't mind. Better to be safe...we want you back to your old self, Esther!

If I remember correctly (hit or miss on this one) Annie was a little mopey the few days after. But I kept the "cone of silence" on her to keep her from licking and I think this was humiliating for her, so that brought her down.

But I agree with Molly's mom, never hurts to give the vet a ring. Keep us posted!

ok. i think we'll give dr amy a ring-a-ding
although I did eat breakfast this morning, which I didn't do for two days straight.
that's kinda what folks were worried about. oh and I turned my nose up at treats too. that's REAL weird. I'm not one for fad diets so...

If you're on pain meds, Anabelle is not herself when she is on them either.

for just a few days i was. that made my tummy hurt and I barfed. (more than normal hee hee)

it was the not eating and not wanting treats that makes the humans worried.
they lost two bassets in january to cancer--neither of them would eat either--and I think they're still a little gunshy. they were so sad and are worried about me now. They love me so much. It's enough to make a little girl blush.

Awww, poor Esther. Be sure to give your mom and dad lots of loves and let them know you'll be fine.

BTW, Boomer wants me to tell you that he thinks you're pretty cute, and wants to know if you are interested in a long-distance relationship? He would ask himself, but he is banned from the computer as I caught him trying to order treats and toys with my credit card.
