·Wonders never cease with these Bassets. We put a harness on Dixie this morning and she walked like a proper lady! We walked up and down the street and then took her to Petsmart! She was completely relaxed. The only time she pulled was when she saw an ANT EATER being walked on a leash in the store. I think I was just as shocked at that sight. It was startling.
My friend came over this morning, with a cache of collars, harnesses and leashes, determined that we would get to the bottom of this. She had an idea that Dixie was used to some other method of walking because she is so well behaved in every other way. She was right!
