But - as I said, not easy to catch her awake and with the eyes open...

First I had to awake her, she wasn't too happy about that:

Then I had to hold up her head, since she was about to fall asleep again:

Now we're talking, Emma's Zoombie impersonation:

Emma's eyes wide shut....

This look probably means: Don't count on any presents for Christmas, Daddy:

Finally, I had to use the old trick-or-treat, I mean treat trick. A peanut was all that was needed:

Hmmmm! I wonder what Emma will decide to do to Steinar for pay back for disturbing her beauty sleep. Miss Emma, you are as beautiful asleep as you are awake! Thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures.

My son and I both cracked right up, honestly I had tears running down my cheeks!
Steinar, if you could bottle up the good feeling Emma generates, and sell it, you'd be a rich man!
I swear, after veirwing her pics, my blood pressure drops...

She is one in a million. :)

Thank you so much for beautiful pictures on a gloomy Monday morning. Emma is gorgeous as usual. We can always count on you for an amazing pick-me-up.

You are better than coffee. Have a wonderful day.
