It was easier when they were smaller, but it's hard to read the scale with a Basset in your arms.
I was looking for something long enough for them to sit on the scale, but I needed to be able to read the scale. So I used my glass cutting board.
very clever we went to PetValue this weekend and they have a scale the dog can walk on!! Simon was 42 1/2 pounds up from a skeleton 30pounds when i got him
