" .....cept I question intelligence of the Red & White girls"

In what way because apart from the only other lemon/white girl we had (who suffered the brain damage during her delayed birth) the only bicolour male we had was super-intelligent. In fact so much so that I felt I'd known him as a human in a previous life. He was just 'different' - he never lay with his coloured siblings in the nest, was always to be found up the other end. Whenever we moved, despite our checking, he'd always find a weak spot in boundary fencing, go through, but instead of taking off, would sit outside the hole waiting for us to come find him at which point he'd clearly say 'if you think you have us contained, think again'. And he'd sit and watch how gate fixtures worked, and get out. He also 'told' me his name was Ben when sitting in the box with them, I was trying to work out how to make his reg.name, Harvester, more useable. We had a Harvey (our first) already.

The bicolours do have a rather different temperament to the tricolours.
