After five months and over 48 hous of travel I made it home. The boys seemed happy to see me and the husband too if for no other reason than to have a home cooked meal again. I don't have to go back to work until 21 Feb; which is very nice. No big plans for my time off except to relax here at home. I have yet to take my boys out for a walk as it's been pretty cold. Hopefully it will warm up soon. It's nice to be home but kind of strange at the same time. No sirens here going off to warn of an attack and no explosions. Odd, but I guess I'll get used to it.

Wow. Enjoy your time off.

A bit OT, but I just saw Grizzly Man. Yes, yes, I know, the guy was seriously off --- but the footage of Alaska was stunning. I'd always heard it's extraordinarily beautiful there, but never realized how gorgeous til the film.
