I hit my head while chasing another dog tonight at my playgroup. I bonked it kinda hard on a wooden picnic table. Then i laid down on my side and pressed by head to the ground. i think I hit my head somewhere around my left eye, maybe above it or to the side of it. After laying down 5-10 minutes, I got up and started walking again. I then was like my old self, back to typing on the computah. Now I am sleeping.

My person wonders if we need to watch for anything? Does anyone have experience with this type of thing? is it like peeple where you have to wake them up every hour and make sure i don't fall into a coma or something like that...??

Oh no Birthday Boy!! All my experience comes from people but it sounds like Worm treated himself just right by lying down afterwards. As hard as it will be on party day, if you see him exhibiting any signs & sxs of a head injury, I'd keep him as quiet as you can. The less he does the better he will feel & the faster he will heal. I would just watch for any sign of pain, n/v, dizziness, photophobia, sensitivity to sound, balance issues, lethargy, or personality changes as they are all signs & sxs. Hopefully he's acting like his ole silly self soon & ready to party till the cows come home!! Anything look out of the ordinary & especially if he seems to be getting worse call the vet! Happy Birthday Wormie!
