Welcome, you'll love the site I know I do. I have 10-month-old Sadie and 5-month-old Max and have learned a lot about Bassets from this site and love the pictures of all the beautiful hounds.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome!! I do love it here, and I'm learning lots. Especially about diet and and anal glands (what a combo!). I've been blessed enough to have 3 bassets in my life, but until Merlin - we never had issues with anal glands!

I'll post better pictures, as soon as I get my digital camera back - a friend borrowed it. Merlin is quite the ham!

We searched all day, but alas, the Lady couldn't be found! :lol: Merlin is the first basset I've had that enjoys water - he LOVES it!
