Good Morning Everyone,

I am new here and just thought I would take a moment and say hello. I came across this board and thought I would join. It looks like it is a great place to learn lots of information and speak drool with other basset lovers My husband and I own a 12.5 almost 13 year old basset. We have had him since he was not quite 7. I just love him to peices! He is absolutely ROTTEN! LOL Here are a couple pictures of him.

Thank you for the welcome and the compliment on our boy. His name is Dusty, but he also goes by Noodle because when he runs he looks like a wet noodle .

I have two seniors (this is the first time I've referred to them both like that)--Lightning, who is 11 but who I still think of as 12 weeks old, and Stomps, who is a rescue so I don't know his exact age, but he is at least 13. I love older dogs.

I have a friend who has an older beagle she just adopted a few months ago from the local shelter. He too is wonderful boy. Who couldnt love a good old hound dog.

We have Bogie, referred to as "Bogie Carter" because there are two Bogies on the forum. Bogie is three and keeps us walking and laughing. He is a great traveler and loves everyone we meet.
