Hi everybody,I am a newbi. I have a 3 year old basset hound her name is Mattie. She is very spoiled! But I love her anyway. I hope I did it right and you get to see a pix of my basset hound Mattie.

I am just new to the forum. I have had Mattie since she was a puppy. I picked her out at 4 weeks old and got to go back and get her 4 weeks later.

Welcome and Mattie is beautiful!!! I think all of us here have "spoiled" Bassets. They are such wonderful dogs and who can deny those sad pleading expressions with those wonderful long ears. We have Bogie, a four year old neutered male, who keeps us laughing and walking, and he is one spoiled fur kid!!!

I have to agree basset are wonderful dogs. You never know what they are going to do or get into next. And you feel bad for fussing at them cause of those sad eyes. I know that is how Mattie gets her way alot of the time, cause she looks up at you with those sad blood-shot eyes and we just melt like ice on a hot July day and give in to what ever she wants.
