Hello from Vermont

Hi my name is copper von smith, I was born in missouri on oct.14th 2010 an when i turned 2months old I hoped on a plane an flew to vermont to meet my new parents. there great they already had a sweet ranch built for me inside an all kinds of toys, but enough about them lets talk about me

Im a ACA reg. tri-color basset thats comes from a long champion bloodline. both my parents an grandparents were show dogs. An i like to think im a pretty handsome boy.

Im just over a yr. an half. my ears..man i got big ears, there almost 10" long. i love sleeping on my back its comfy, Im trying to stay heathy an trim. love going for walks we live right near a bike path so my dad takes me all the time, an i love it

the pic of the house.... yeah thats my pad, hardwood floor an everything. i also like sitting on the arm of the couch an watching all the cars go by cause we live on a very busy road. oh is anyone else on here from vermont? cause i dont see alot of other basset around here an would like some new friends..

Love the pics, thanks for sharing! That house looks pretty neat too. I am new here so don't know if anyone else is from Vermont, I am in Iowa lol.

And is that a beagle sibling? Bowser has a beagle sister named Daisy and they romp all over my house (especially before bedtime)

Hiya Coppah! (are you named after Coppah from "Fox & Hound"??? i love that movieeeee) we like your dark face & that there's still a lot of black in it, you handsome fella. yes, like Bowsah, i loooooooove your Dog House!! do tell us more about it. I love squeezing into confined spaces, too, so i bet i would love it.

Welcome to the forums Copper! We're in South Carolina and there aren't many basset hounds around us either. I don't think anyway.

I spent the summer of '82 in Sumter at the old Duke logging camp. No bassets, but lots of chiggers.

As for my house...thats my dad he makes custom pet enclosures here in vermont. the house is actully a 2 bedroom ranch. the bigger house is mine an the addition on the right is my sister beagles house, her name is summer. My other sister harley is a american shorthair cat an she has a huge cat castle that he built her too. dads always building somthing

An yes i was named after fox an the hound. thats my favorite cartoon movie.

he built the house for me to sleep in at night cause when he leaves me out i get into trouble

im still waiting for a fence cause i have to go to the dog park to run loose, its a long ride but its worth it
