It's been quite awhile since I've been on and lots has happened. Firstly, I had no idea that I had so many PMs in my inbox. I want to thank each and everyone one of you for your love, concern and support. It has meant a lot to me and my family. I've been feeling okay - not great but okay is good enough for me right now. I go in later this month for my first CAT scan since the surgery and while I was given an 85% 5 year survival rate, it still makes one nervous. I'm sure everything will turn out fine.
We did go on our boat this summer and, for the most part, had a great time. I may have pushed myself a little soon as we left on June 6th but I had the doctor's okay so off we went. This was the year of the bear and we saw lots and lots. Not many whales but did get pictures of a wolf and Trumpetor Swans and lots of mountains! It rained a lot and I managed to catch a bronchial infection but antibiotics and steroids took care of it.
Huckleberry has been great. He's still my loverboy and doesn't ever let me forget it! He was officially selected as the representative for the Hip Hound, a boutique in Portland, OR which had it's grand opening this weekend. He had a second photo shoot and patiently sat for over 200 pictures! I've decided to develop a line of greeting cards using some of the shots (and others when I can get them ready) and am hoping to come out with a calendar soon. I've listed a link so you can take a peek at the ones I've developed so far. I sure would appreciate your input. Just click on the photo for a slide show!
Hope all is well and I've missed everyone. Take care!
I've been wondering about you! I'm glad to hear that you are recovering nicely. Congrats to Huck on his new career. I always knew he could make it in show business.
Lynne, it's so nice to hear from you. I'm glad Huckleberry has been your cheerleader through your recovery. I'm wishing you good health and best wished on your CAT.
The card line sounds great- Huckleberry is so photogenic- I would love to know when they'll be available, and the calendar too! We always get the Willow Creek basset calendar to hang in our kitchen, but I would definitely prefer a Huckleberry calendar!
I'm so glad you posted! I have been wondering how you were. I'm going to look at Huckleberry's pictures right now. He is such a handsome boy...of course he was selcted for this postion! Take care.
I too have been wodering where you were and how you have been. There is no greater medicine than a loving hound! I have missed his mug as he has always been so photogenic! How is your other pup? Can't wait for the line of cards!
