Tri-State BHR's major fund raiser, the Boardwaddle, and my daughter's due date is this Saturday. After months of wondering if we'd be able to go, my grandson, James Patrick, very thoughtfully arrived this past Monday! Baby and parents all doing very well...coming home today.

Thanks for the good wishes! The baby is coming to my house tonight; maybe I can get some baby and basset pictures!

The Boardwaddle was a little damp. Ocean City cancelled the parade, but held the festivities at their Music Pier. They asked the basset congingent to make an appearance. Luckily, the rain held off till everyone was back inside the Civic Center, then it came down by the bucket.

A good time was had by all. We had one basset and owner drive all the way from Texas and one owner fly in from Seattle, Washington.
