I was just wondering since this does tend to run in the breed if anyone gets their hound tested for this every year. I had Yogi tested a couple times last year when he was having some trouble with his eyes. His eyes are fine. I was very relieved.

In bassets glaucoma is ussual acute onset. Routine eye presure testing is like finding a needle in a haystack a Gonioscopy is a better tool for assesing the odd of the dog developing a problem because it is able to diagnose if the dog has the condition cause by genitics that predisposes bassets to glaucoma
