On February 25, 1988 God's gift to the world was popped out along with eight other pups and so help me, thirteen years later and I'm still laughing.
After a day of of partying his brains out at doggie daycare His Majesty, Francis Aloysius is currently on HIS (used to be my)bed, sleeping off his cookie hangover and I am one happy and grateful girl for the time we've had together.
Basset groupies, I couldn't have done it without you.
The advice, support and just plain good camaraderie I've been given here has helped me through some of the worst experiences ol' Franny and I have had together. After the glaucoma diagnosis and subsequent blindness you guys gave some of the soundest advice and most sympathetic support and made the way easier for us to navigate.
He's currently a very healthy little (just lost 6 pounds!) geezer and the vet thinks we have a lot more time together.
So, thanks for all you've given us over the years and we're looking forward to the next thirteen(??!!?!) years with you all!
